LESSONS LEARNED FROM 30 YEARS IN THE RECYCLING INDUSTRY
Over the past three decades, one recurring pattern has become evident across the recycling industry: bringing innovative technologies to commercial scale is exceptionally challenging.
It is no exaggeration to say that the recycling industry has lost more capital to failed projects than its relatively few commercially successful companies have generated in profits. This is not an argument against innovation. It is a reminder that a promising technology alone is not enough. Scalability, sound engineering, realistic economics, reliable feedstock and a viable market must come together.
THE VALUE OF INDPENDENT ASSESSMENT
Independent assessment helps investors, lenders and project developers identify risks early, challenge unrealistic assumptions and distinguish credible opportunities from concepts that are not yet ready for commercial implementation.
My role is to provide the technical experience, commercial perspective and independent judgment needed to support informed investment decisions.
